HOTEL CASA WERNER

Puerto Varas, Chile

BLOOM & BOARD

An antique German-style manor tucked beside a quiet lagoon in Puerto Varas, Hotel Casa Werner feels like a page torn from a storybook. Built in 1916 and lovingly preserved, the house sits beneath a canopy of southern Chilean sky, surrounded by a garden alive with birdsong, rain-slicked stone, and timeworn wood. It’s a place where everything moves a little slower—breakfast is long, the paths are mossy, and the rooms echo with both quiet and character.

While staying at the property, I collaborated with the hotel on a short-form video capturing its natural surroundings and historic charm. The piece organically reached over 18,000 viewers across North and South America, introducing new audiences to the hotel’s uniquely intimate setting and ecological preservation efforts.
